Lincoln and Vietnam Memorial

After climbing the big hill to Arlington our feet were getting a bit sore. We were tempted to skip the stairs but knew it was something we needed to see up close. We were not disappointed

The memorial is huge and his famous speeches are written on each wall of the exhibit

We are guessing that from his foot to his knee is about 6 feet tall. You can see how small Mom is standing below Lincoln

This is the Vietnam memorial, there are still flowers and cards left for loved ones on the wall
