Update

Jessica finally made us update. Time has flown by since July. We have been busy with our lives and family. Over Labor day we went up to Jackson hole with Jennifer. It was a nice trip. We rose the tram up at Teton village. That was beautiful. We recommend it to anyone.

We rode the tram then had lunch at the top of the mountain. It was cold up there but I'm cold anywhere. We saw lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery.

Brett and Clay were baptized this year. It was fun to go to Richfield and see the family and friends that are still there. The kids (and some adults) played dodge ball and other games in the church after a great meal.

Newport Beach and Summer Fun

So here we are, all getting ready for the road trip. Four cars, six adults, and seven kids later we are off. Oh except for the flat tire we had right at the start of the trip. Thank goodness it was at home and not on the road.

The good life!!

Life on the beach, who could complain?

This is Taylin being buried by Uncle Mckay as Tracy and Ginger watch on.

Garrett loved the sand finally on the last day. He did not want to get out of the water.

Kayla, Mckenna, Wyatt and Clay running from the waves.

Letting the waves chase the kids was great.
And collecting seashells was great,
as well, until we found out that you aren't allowed to take the shells from the State Park. Ooops!

The Mckay Christensen family.

This was the long, steep staircase down to the beach. Luckily we had to stop and take a picture.
Kayla was the fortunate one to get rescued by a lifeguard. Too bad it was a girl and not one of the boys to the rescue.

And sunset at Laguna Beach, oh what a sight!

New York! New York!

Start Spreading the news we made it to New York for the first time! We had such a great time with my Sister Malinda and her husband Rod. Our highlights included walking, walking and more walking. Our first day was a bus tour and was able to hear and see much of the history of

New York. Then in the evening we went to a Broadway show The Jersey Boys. Saturday was a boat tour of the Statue of Liberty and the harbor. Sunday we

attended church and Ground Zero

and a Horse and Carriage Ride in Central Park as well as visiting Grand Central Station and Battery Park. Monday was Janet's Highlight of the whole trip as she was able to meet her Fox News Celebrities. For those of you who don't know who they are here are some of the names. John Gibson, Steve Duche, Gretchen Carlson, Brian Kilmeade, Neil Cavuto, and even got to be on TV while they did a cooking show. Now you can all say you know someone who has been on TV. Yeah!! Then we had to go and get one of the best Hot Fudge Sundaes at Sarendipity. Then there was shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Then in the morning we were able to go and see Regis and Kelly. The show will air July 3rd so look for us. To say the least this was a great trip and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Spring Break Fun

Spring Break what fun. We had Mckay, Tracy and the girls here for the week. And Jess and Nat with their kids. We also had Tracy's family over to celebrate her mom's birthday.
Between swimming,

Circus Circus, Easter egg hunts the week was fun and crazy. We ate way too much and got too much sun for some.

The temp was in the 80's all week. Just a few clouds to be just right. Always fun to have the grandkids together. Wish you all could have been here as well.

Brrrr it's cold down here

Since the holidays are over we have nothing to do but keep the ice off the pool. Notice the bare feet? This was a week ago, the weather was not so cold as you can see.

This week it was a bit colder. Notice the hat and shoes below. Even the palm trees got a beach towel to cover. Blue skies and boredom set in. Joe just sits and watches the ice melt. Come and see us even though it's cold.

Merry Christmas from Joe and Janet

Merry Christmas to all. We enjoyed decorating the house with Christmas lights and would like to share them with you. All we need now is snow. They are actually predicting snow for this weekend. We enjoy viewing your blogs and hope we can figure out how to make ours more creative.
